- Hi,
-
- the new A1200 of my sister shows a violet bootup screen from time to time.
- Does anybody know what this means?
-
- Also, there's a strange flickering effect on the screen showing up
- sometimes.
- I read in an Amiga magazine that this is only happening when a 100%
- white color is used as one of the colors on the screen.
- So I advised her to reduce the white to a light grey, and indeed the
- flicker disappeared.
-
- Does anybody know what the reason is for that is?
-
- Besides from that, I have to say that the A1200 is a very good and nice
- machine, also the new OS3.1 colorwheel is great! I think I'll get myself
- the 3.1 kickstart for my A4000 soon.
